Let customers speak for us
from 828 reviewsI took a chance when these were on sale after Christmas, I bought a pair for my snowboarding kid in BC & a pair each for my sister & for myself. We're part of an adaptive snowsports program & the nature of instructing some of our students can mean either a LOT of snowplow with some athletes or a lot of speed with Sit-skiers.
My knees haven't been sore at all with mine. I was raving about them last week after lessons, another instructor raved about his & this week, two other members of our program have ordered some too. The fit is great (order your regular size/follow the chart), love the tie waist & the pockets. I was concerned they might have caused problems with my boots/socks as they're a bit longer than my legless Smartwool baselayer but they're great (I'm 5'4" tall). I'll be ordering a pair of the cooler weight ones for spring skiing & warmer weather hiking. I have my fingers crossed that they fit as well in the waist without the drawstring.
Try them, I have zero regrets & would definitely buy again at regular prices as well.
This is a great product but you have to order a size up. They work amazingly. Support in all of the right spots.
I just love my Bracelayer compression pants. I have thermal ones for skiing and regular ones for hiking. As I have RA, I used to wear compression knee sleeves which were irritating because they slid down digging the metal side supports into my calves. The compression pants fit so well offering great support. I initially had a bit of a problem with sizing but Bracelayer sorted it out for me really quickly and easily. I was totally impressed with their customer service. For sizing, I am 5’3” and 115 pounds. I found the adjustable waist in size small ( the normal size I would buy in leggings) fit me perfectly. I have recommended the pants to all my ski buddies and they have purchased them as well. They love the warmth and less tired legs. Bracelayer offers an excellent product, is a local company (Whistler) and has great customer service. What more can you ask for. Thank you Bracelayer.
I ended up ordering two in the end, XL which seemed big and then a L of the 7/8th type, both fit good and they give good support for the knee, my knee brace pull on gave better support for my right knee but don’t need that kind of support now and this works great for both knees. The large size does slip a bit at the waist when doing ups and downs like when curling or other exercises so have to pull up once in awhile. I sold the XL to a friend of mine but almost wish i had of kept them as well for curling in. More economical that Stoko and fit/work better for me than they did.
Great product! As a ski instructor I spend long periods on snow in all kinds of weather and those long periods of skiing can leave me with tired legs. Bracelayer provides me with the leg support that allows me to ski 5-6 days a week. If you have muscular legs and glutes as I do, I recommend you go up a size. I normally wear xl and have two pair of xl I cannot wear, but the xxl fits perfectly. Recreational and ski professionals will realize the benefit of warmth, comfort and knee support when wearing Bracelayer. Get yourself a pair…, or 2!
Makes an unbelievable difference and lets me ski full days, absolutely worth it!
I recently purchased the KX1 knee stabilizing compression pants. I recently had a knee and hip replacement. I felt instant relief and support when I put them on. While I don’t wear them all the time so as not to become dependant on the during my full recovery, it is no longer a chore to walk the dog. Will probably order a second pair come golf season.
I had some problems with sizing but the customer service I received was fantastic I will purchase again. Thank you.
The Bracelayers do exactly what they are supposed to do - strongly support the knees. They also keep the legs very warm.
I bought these for my husband for Christmas, he had had knee issues for years (torn ACL) and he raves about how it didn’t bother him for the whole day of skiing double black diamond runs…if you’re on the fence, pull the trigger! They’re great! Will buy more! Delivery was 3 days with the mail strike and free!!🤗
I originally purchased a medium but it was too loose. The return process was simple and the Bracelayer team very responsive. I am now in a small and it fits perfectly. I like that I don’t need to wear a separate knee brace while skiing and it acts as a base layer also. I also purchased one for my husband and he is loving it. Thanks Bracelayer!
I injured my left hip and knee the 2nd week of December and these feel amazing !!! The compression on my hip and knee feels supportive and helps with the pain. Not to mention on my right knee that is bad it helps support that as well
I purchased KX2 Alpine to use them when skiing at Tremblant. First time on and I am very happy with the product, my knees and hips were warm in -18C, and I skied for over 4 hours without any pain that I typically have in this weather. Also, I am over 60 and this base layer will help me extend my ski hours.
Love the base layer pants. They are warm under wind pants for walking on the North Shore of PEI this winter. Knee support is so much easier then wearing separate braces. Super pants and excellent quality!
